Flying: Ideas & Time.

Two things have been flying lately: Ideas & Time.

Ideas - I've been churning ideas out, on a weekly basis in regards to new content for SUYM. The only real roadblock we've seemed to encounter is a common time during which the cast can meet. This proves especially difficult during the semester (which, by the way is rapidly approaching). So, what we have so far is a bunch of ideas and a strong radio show.

Ah, the radio show.

That seems to be the bright spot for SUYM during these "dolrum-esque" days. As you've probably already seen, the show is being released as a Podcast in addition to the direct download. By Podcasting the show, we've gained an ever increasing population of subscribers. We're slowly closing in on the 200-Subscriber milestone. While it might seem a bit smallish, 200 subscribers are a great number considering the only promotion the show gets is on SUYM.com.

The best part about the show, aside from its stand-alone strength, is the fun we have making it. That's what I look forward to in the week. I used to spend endless hours capturing footage and editing clips - but without any video to edit I've slowly grown to really appreciate each show.

Time - It might just be me, but it feels like when I went to sleep last night it was the beginning of December, and I was JUST coming out of my November-Funk. Turns out that time is passing more quickly than I had realized. December just kind of flew by, making a quick stop only for Christmas & New Years. January is here and it's already the 10th. Things are just WHIZZIN' by! A few days ago it was LaResa's & my one-month anniversary. We decided to have dinner with a few close friends - Britney & Rollo. My God. I tell you I hadn't had a meal like the one LaResa made in a long, LONG time. She made stuffed shells, salad, chocolate chip muffins and blonde brownies. I ate until I probably should have stopped, then I ate more.

One month's only happen once, so I figured I'd get her some roses - 20 of em.

We watched "Wedding Crashers" and rounded out the evening with a "dance party" of sorts where LaResa danced and I sang "Bombs over Baghdad" by Outkast.

Where did all the days go? Time's sure flyin!
